One Month Picture

I finally got picture with a little bit of a smile.

She has been so much more alert this week. She has been pretty cranky and I have felt kind of bad and wondered if she hates her life here on earth.  I decided to feed her more and apparently I have been starving her because since I have fed her more she is so much happier.  So we have been playing.  It's funny the things you'll do to get a baby to smile.  Worth it.

This was our first attempt at the one month picture but she wasn't having it so we waited until another day.

Newborn Pictures

Our photographer Ashley Mae finished our pictures.  Yay!  We have been dying to get them.  Oh my gosh!  We love them.   Now we just need a small fortune to have them printed.  For your viewing pleasure.

One Month

 Our little sweet cheeks is changing and growing.  Tomorrow she will be one month old.  I can't even believe it.  On Aug 16 she smiled for us, a couple of times.  We have yet to get it on camera.  She thinks the camera has ulterior motives or something.  When she cries it sounds like she is just cussing us out.  I can't help but laugh sometimes.  She won't be a dainty little fragile girl based on how she sounds.  When she is hungry she goes crazy with her fists around her face making it hard to get the bottle in her mouth.  She is eating more too.  Sometimes she eats too much then we wear it. 

We have been struggling with her sleeping at night.  She doesn't seem to enjoy her crib so we bought her a new bed.  She just loves to be snuggled and the rock n play has such great reviews that we thought it was worth a try.  She loves it.  We put her in about 10 and she wakes up around 3 or 4 then again at 6:30 and back down for a couple of hours.  We also started using the sleep sheep, ocean sounds to be exact to block out the other noise.    Yay, mom is getting some sleep.  I never thought I was capable of running on such little sleep. 

Chris took a nap with her and he took a picture since her head band was wonky.  She doesn't wear many headbands because I feel like they just squish her head and then I feel bad.   I would be annoyed to have something tight around my head all day.  She does look stinkin cute with them on though.

 Today was her first day at church.  Chris was  changing callings today so we had to get there.  We were only 2 minutes late but our Bishops son had his mission homecoming so we were in the gym on the hard seats, with the crazy noisy kids.  Ronnie did excellent though.  She is usually wide awake and totally impatient in the mornings but she just sat during church and we were able to keep her happy. 

She told us all about it though when we got home.

Not A Morning Girl

I took this video of her the other morning trying to wake up.  She has such a hard time waking up we just laugh at her.  Chris says she got that from me.

She get the hiccups all the time.  We feel bad for her but it is kind of funny at the same time.

Introducing Sweet Cheeks

Our precious little girl Ronnie has the most kissable cheeks ever, hence the title.  We have had the best time with her.  Most of the time we just stare at her and can't believe she is here, safe and sound in our arms.   

She is now 3 weeks old and her newborn diapers are getting pretty snug, size 1 just seem too big.  She is sleeping about 4 hours at a time at night, thank you little one.  When she is hungry you better not mess around or she'll cuss you out.  Can you see the red in her hair in the above picture.

 Her favorite thing is snuggling with Daddy right under his neck she will even suck on his neck if he lets her.

She doesn't mind taking her bath, mommy loves her smell after the bath. 

 

She is a good sport in her car seat... until she wakes up. 

 

 Did I say that she snuggles.  She is the best snuggler and we love it so, so much. 



She doesn't love her binky but she is on the verge of sucking on her thumb. The last couple of days she has started to figure it out.

I couldn't resist this picture of my niece Josie and my sister Chelsey (Josie's aunt).  Chelsey is trying to entertain her with her phone games.  Check her out swimsuit with boots.  That is completely her.  She loves to swim and I have seen her push a goat around.  So stinking cute, the boots light up when she walks.
